PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hogan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The real American. Lesnar has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Adam Lesnar acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lesnar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hogan is controlling him.
Hogan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hogan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hogan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hogan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hogan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hogan winds up and cracks Lesnar with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hogan stalling.

Hogan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lesnar tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hogan!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hulk Hogan!
