The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but David swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Santos takes a swing at David's ribcage but misses.
David tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten David somewhat.
David takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos stuffs the takedown attempt from David. David gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
David wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.

enabling Santos to counter with a crisp jab.
Good leg kick by Santos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
David tries for a takedown but Santos circles away easily
and Santos counters with a nice body shot.

Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but David circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Santos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Despite being in the dominant position, Cross David just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Santos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Santos wants it to stay on the feet.
David shoots in for a takedown but Santos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Santos is looking to wear down David with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

David changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cross David is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Let's hope that David has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
