Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Invasion of the Bodysnatcher as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender lets loose with a powerful body kick. Peterson will feel that in the morning.
Peterson misses with a body shot.
Peterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bender manages to avoid it.
Bender slips a jab from Peterson.

Peterson misses with a hook.
A jab from Peterson misses.
Bender tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peterson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bender moves away from the strike by Peterson.
Peterson lands with a slapping head kick.
Peterson lands a body shot.

Bender staying out of range there.
Bender feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peterson's calf.
Bender steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peterson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bender.

and Bender counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Peterson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bender was well out of range. Poor timing from Peterson.

and Bender counters with a body kick that stops Peterson in his tracks momentarily.

That's time! Bender's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bender looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Bender takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bender tries to close the distance and clinch but Peterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Peterson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bender.
