Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Moon's choice of entrance music: Love Me Sexy. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jackie Moon!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James lands a big head kick that sends Moon tumbling to the mat! James takes a step backwards and waves Moon back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Jackie Moon has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James leaves Moon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

James closes the distance and pushes Moon back into the cage.
James tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Moon avoids it.
Moon fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Moon feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Moon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moon drops back, looking for a kneebar! James looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. James looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from James!
James is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Moon's shoulder. That is not cool.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

James got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, James has managed to get both his arms back between Moon's legs - danger averted.
Jesse James is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Moon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but James can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jackie Moon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
