Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dirk Overeem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Batur Iskander!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Overeem is looking to work some ground and pound but Iskander has wrist control.
Overeem is pushing down on Iskander's leg trying to pass to half guard. Iskander is fighting to maintain full guard but Overeem has managed to sneak the leg through.
Overeem is stalling here. Iskander is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Overeem seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Iskander has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
You can see the frustration on Overeem's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Overeem is not content to let Iskander control the position.
Overeem might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Overeem tries to buck Iskander off but Iskander is having none of it.
Iskander wants to stand but Overeem is controlling his arm.

Iskander decides to stand back up. Iskander steps back and let's Overeem get back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Overeem.

Overeem blocks a head kick by Iskander.
Overeem avoids a kick to the body.

Overeem drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Overeem is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Iskander is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Overeem is breathing heavily.
Iskander manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Iskander frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Overeem is squirming around, avoiding Iskander's attempts to control the action.
Iskander wants to stand but Overeem is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Overeem could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Iskander avoids the attempt from Overeem to control.
Overeem is just holding on here. Iskander manages to take his back.
Overeem tries to escape the position.
Overeem trying to control the action but Iskander just sinks the hooks in.
Overeem breaks Iskander's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Iskander throws a head kick that misses.
Overeem throws a looping overhand right but Iskander ducks down to avoid it.
Iskander plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Dirk Overeem has been cut.
Overeem avoids the head kick by Iskander.
Iskander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Overeem swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Iskander lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Overeem crumples to the floor! Iskander milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
