Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Thoupos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Van der Laan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thoupos comes into the arena with Opposite of Adults blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Van der Laan's choice of entrance music: Eazy-E ft. Tupac, The Game - How We Do. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Thoupos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Van der Laan!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van der Laan defending well as Thoupos loads up on a big left hand.
Thoupos misses with an uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Van der Laan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Van der Laan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thoupos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thoupos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Van der Laan's head backwards.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Thoupos.
Van der Laan regains half guard there - taking advantage of Thoupos's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Thoupos lands a nice short elbow.
Thoupos tries to pass to full mount but Van der Laan defends it.
Van der Laan is not content to let Thoupos control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van der Laan wants to stand back up but Thoupos manages to pass into side control.
Van der Laan is looking to get back to his feet here but Thoupos is keeping cool and he's managed to take Van der Laan's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van der Laan is trying to get back to his feet but Thoupos has full control of the position and if anything, Van der Laan has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Thoupos is looking for the choke from the back position but Van der Laan is controlling his hands well.
Van der Laan controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Thoupos has got one arm under Van der Laan's chin. This could be trouble... Van der Laan trying to control the other hand but Thoupos gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Van der Laan has tapped out! The fight is over!
