Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Scott!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ostonen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Scott moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ostonen has worked his arm free - good work by Ostonen!

Scott thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Scott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ostonen sprawls well. Ostonen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scott gets slowly back to his feet.
Ostonen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Horrible takedown by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Ostonen which made him look bad.
Ostonen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ostonen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
