The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yelton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Davison, pushing him back against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Yelton obliges.
Davison is trying to trip Yelton. He has hold of a leg but Yelton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Davison persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Davison content to stall in guard here.
Yelton is looking for a triangle here but Davison uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Davison tries for a kimura but Yelton is defending well.
Davison is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yelton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Yelton is trying to work for a sweep but Davison has mounted him!
