Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sabal Urjita Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ramsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramsley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Trooper kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sabal Urjita Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Ramsley!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Ramsley misses.

Singh gets a takedown into half guard.
Singh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Still in half guard, Singh seems content to control.
Ramsley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Singh stands up out of the half guard.
Singh blocks a head kick by Ramsley.
Ramsley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ramsley misses with a double jab.
Ramsley misses with a body kick.

Singh has managed to clinch.
Ramsley wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ramsley tries to score a body lock takedown but Singh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Singh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Singh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ramsley sprawls well initially but Singh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Singh slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Singh wants to free his trapped foot but Ramsley is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Singh is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ramsley has managed to free his arm - good work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Singh in particular looking to stall.

Singh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Singh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ramsley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Singh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sabal Urjita Singh just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ramsley throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Singh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ramsley scores with a one two! Singh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Singh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Singh is pushing down on Ramsley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ramsley is fighting to maintain full guard but Singh has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Singh has closed the distance and engaged Ramsley in a clinch.
Ramsley is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Singh wants the takedown. Ramsley is fighting it off but Singh persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ramsley's guard against the ropes.

Singh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Singh stands up and waves to Ramsley to follow him.
Ramsley misses with a wild combination.
Ramsley throws a head kick that misses.
Ramsley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Singh gets to his feet. Ramsley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sabal Urjita Singh dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Singh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Singh is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Singh is looking for a kimura but Ramsley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Singh to get the leverage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Singh tries to stand and escape but Ramsley is controlling the position.

Ramsley is trying to get back to full guard.
Singh wants to stand but Ramsley has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Singh stands up from half guard.
Ramsley misses with a hook. Singh ducked under it nicely.
Ramsley looks to score with a jab to the body but Singh is just out of range.

Singh forces Ramsley back against the ropes and clinches.

Singh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Singh manages to end up in side control.

Singh decides to stand back up. Singh steps back and let's Ramsley get back to his feet.

Singh closes the distance and pushes Ramsley back into the ropes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Singh has Ramsley pressed against the ropes, preventing Ramsley from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Singh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Singh is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Singh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ramsley is trying to break the clinch but Singh has him pressed against the ropes.

Singh manages to break the clinch.
Ramsley's corner calls for a 1-2. Ramsley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Singh is looking to clinch but Ramsley is avoiding it.

Singh gets the takedown into side control.
Singh wants to stand but Ramsley has his arm trapped.
Singh has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ramsley!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Singh is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ramsley can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Singh breaks from Ramsley's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Singh controlling the position easily from mount.
Singh in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sabal Urjita Singh showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Singh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
