Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Njord Freyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the ring accompanied by You are the best around. Freyr has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Njord Freyr!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko scores with a hook.
Freyr throws a looping overhand right but Emelianenko ducks down to avoid it.
Emelianenko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Freyr moves forwards but Emelianenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Emelianenko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Freyr.

Emelianenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Emelianenko takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Emelianenko wants to pass the guard but Freyr is defending well.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Freyr looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Emelianenko! Submission of the night perhaps?
