Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Verno Ackhbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlson has chosen My Block - Scarface as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ackhbar tries to clinch up but Carlson circles away and keeps his distance.

Ackhbar instigates a clinch.
Carlson jumps guard but Ackhbar stands there with Carlson around his waist. Carlson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Carlson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ackhbar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ackhbar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ackhbar rushes Carlson and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Carlson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carlson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ackhbar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carlson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Ackhbar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ackhbar is leaning against Carlson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Ackhbar will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carlson up against the ropes.
Ackhbar pushes Carlson back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ackhbar lands a left hand.

Ackhbar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ackhbar rushes Carlson and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Carlson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ackhbar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Verno Ackhbar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Carlson.
Ackhbar manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ackhbar digs a right hand underneath Carlson's ribcage. Carlson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Carlson looks gassed!
Carlson can't break the clinch.

Ackhbar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ackhbar closes the distance and clinches.
Carlson tries to pull guard but Ackhbar won't allow it.

Ackhbar breaks the clinch.
Carlson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Carlson misses with a hook.
Verno Ackhbar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Carlson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ackhbar lands on the inside with an uppercut.

It looks like Billy Carlson has been cut.

Ackhbar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ackhbar lands a left and a right that send Carlson crashing to the mat, dazed. Ackhbar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Carlson is rocked!
Ackhbar cracks Carlson with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
