Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhakesh Alhazred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alhazred lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Smith wants to clinch.

Alhazred throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Alhazred tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alhazred leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alhazred swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Smith is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Alhazred is avoiding damage well.

Alhazred really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alhazred makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Alhazred.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alhazred has Smith pulled in close to control his posture.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alhazred punishes Smith's body with a nice straight punch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Alhazred lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Alhazred takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Smith is rocked!

Alhazred lands with a big right hook that stumbles Smith - he's out on his feet here! Alhazred follows up with another monster hook that separates Smith from consciousness! Smith falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Alhazred stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
