Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Taua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Taua looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taua shoots for a double leg takedown but Valentine sprawls well. He's pushed Taua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Valentine goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Ricardo Taua has been cut.

Valentine lands a left and a right that send Taua crashing to the mat, dazed. Valentine thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Taua is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Valentine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Taua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Taua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taua is breathing heavily.
Valentine works Taua's body with a nice hook.
Taua takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Taua seems to have got his legs back now.
Valentine cracks Taua on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Taua falls backwards against the cage. Valentine follows up with more strikes that drop Taua to his knees. Valentine keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Taua! This one is all over!
