Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alecander Fein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cabbage Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fein jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cain shoots in but Fein avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fein bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cain's head backwards.
Cain lands with an overhand left.

Cain seems to be working for a kimura but Fein defends the submission attempt.

Cain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fein swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fein pulls Cain in close to prevent any damage.
Cain distracts Fein with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Fein wants to get back to his feet but Cain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Cain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fein is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cain, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fein looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Fein perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Cain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fein is working away from the top position though.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cain fails to land the takedown.
Fein has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cain cracks Fein with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Fein lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cain doesn't seem phased though.
Fein swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cain.
Cain takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fein lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fein connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cain's hands.
Cain cracks Fein with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fein is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Fein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cain. Cain circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Alecander Fein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cabbage Cain.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Horrible takedown by Cain or perhaps it was just good defense by Fein which made him look bad.

Fein lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fein.
Fein shoots in looking for a takedown. Cain tries to sprawl out of it but Fein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fein is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fein's back instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fein's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
