Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Malyshev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Murray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksander Malyshev!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malyshev keeps the fight on the outside.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Malyshev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Murray - the referee stops the clock and Malyshev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Murray. Malyshev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Malyshev shoots in for a takedown but Murray shows good takedown defense.
Murray is looking to clinch but Malyshev is avoiding it.
Murray fails with the takedown

and Malyshev counters with a shoot takedown. Murray fights it but they end up in guard.

Murray scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Murray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Malyshev can do anything to dispel that myth.

Murray tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Malyshev can't escape the position.
Murray postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Malyshev looks a forlorn figure.

Malyshev wants to hold on but Murray pushes him away.
Malyshev sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Murray connects with a nice short shot to Malyshev's temple.
Murray is keen to just control but Malyshev is a slippery customer.
Murray tries to pass the half guard into mount. Malyshev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Murray tries to stand but can't do so whilst Malyshev controls his leg.

Malyshev is desperately trying to improve his position but Murray has a good base and remains in mount.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Murray lands a nice short elbow.

Murray gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Malyshev decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Murray's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murray is looking to stand up but Malyshev isn't so interested in that idea.
Murray lands a decent punch to the body there.

Malyshev is pushing down on Murray's leg trying to pass to half guard. Murray is fighting to maintain full guard but Malyshev has managed to sneak the leg through.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Malyshev wants to pass the guard but Murray is defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Murray doesn't manage to clinch there - Malyshev circles away.
Murray dives in and grabs Malyshev's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malyshev pushes down on Murray's head and hops out.
Murray tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Malyshev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murray was covering up waiting for the punch and Malyshev finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Malyshev passes Murray's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Malyshev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murray doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malyshev.
Malyshev is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Murray!

Malyshev is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Josh Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Murray catches Malyshev right on the button with a cross.

Murray changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Malyshev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Murray is looking to take a break and control but Malyshev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Malyshev wants to get back to his feet but Murray drags him back down.
Malyshev gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Malyshev had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Murray is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Malyshev Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Murray's back instead.

Malyshev is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Murray is defending well though. Malyshev let's go of the attempt for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malyshev lands strikes to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Malyshev is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Aleksander Malyshev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Malyshev shoots in and drives through. Murray sprawls well.

and Murray counters with a nice double leg into side control. Malyshev won't be happy with that.
Malyshev takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Murray creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Malyshev tries to buck Murray off but Murray is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Murray stands up.

Murray works over Malyshev's head and body with a nice combination.

Malyshev gets caught flat footed, as Murray shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Malyshev wants to sweep but no luck.
Murray scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Malyshev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Malyshev looking for a triangle here. Murray is fighting it but it looks tight! Malyshev pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Murray is tapping out - this one is all over!
