Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Torres Gerrard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Pinkchenzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinkchenzo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pinkchenzo tries to clinch but Gerrard moves out of range.
Gerrard fails to land with a series of punches.
Pinkchenzo closes the distance and clinches up with Gerrard, looking for a takedown. Pinkchenzo pushes Gerrard against the cage but Gerrard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pinkchenzo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gerrard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gerrard has his takedown stuffed
and Pinkchenzo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gerrard is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Gerrard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Pinkchenzo is refusing to be controlled, as Gerrard sits in half guard.
Pinkchenzo is concentrating on defense, preventing Gerrard from advancing position.

Gerrard decides to stand and escape the position.
Gerrard is breathing heavily.
Pinkchenzo rushes Gerrard and presses him up against the cage.
Pinkchenzo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Torres Gerrard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Pinkchenzo.

Gerrard is looking to take a break and control but Pinkchenzo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pinkchenzo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gerrard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gerrard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pinkchenzo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gerrard.

Pinkchenzo is trying to maintain the position but Gerrard is very close to passing his half guard.

Pinkchenzo is looking to control Gerrard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pinkchenzo avoid being mounted?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pinkchenzo tries to clinch but Gerrard is having none of it.
Gerrard catches Pinkchenzo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Pinkchenzo misses with a head kick.

Pinkchenzo wants to get back to full guard.
Gerrard in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pinkchenzo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gerrard!
