Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Stubb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Santiago Diaz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stubb is pushing down on Diaz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diaz is fighting to maintain full guard but Stubb has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stubb drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Stubb off! Stubb jumps back into Diaz's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stubb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stubb manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
