Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhamad Uni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muhamad Uni!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uni rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Uni scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Jacob Kain has been cut.
Kain fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like Muhamad Uni has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Kain. No joy for Uni on that attempt.

Kain defending well as Uni loads up on a big left hand.

Uni stands up from Kain's guard - Uni perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uni circles away quickly and effectively.

and Kain counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kain shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Uni on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kain lands with a punch from half guard.
Kain prevents Uni from improving his position.
Kain prevents Uni from standing back up.
Kain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Uni sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kain somewhat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Uni scores with a nice strike.
Kain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uni as he jumps to the side.

Uni throws a right hand that Kain ducks under and follows up with a left that Kain also avoids with ease.
Uni shoots for a double leg takedown but Kain sprawls well. He's pushed Uni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Uni tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Uni counters with a nice uppercut.
Kain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacob Kain dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Uni tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Uni misses with a straight right.
Uni avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jacob Kain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Uni missing with a left hand there. Kain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Kain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


That has opened up Muhamad Uni's cut even more.
Uni walks into a stiff left hand from Kain.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Kain counters with a crisp one two that drops Uni! Kain thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Uni to his feet! Uni is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kain lands a left and a right that send Uni crashing to the mat, dazed. Kain thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Uni is rocked!


Muhamad Uni's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uni tries to avoid it but Kain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uni to the ground. Uni escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Uni is still on wobbly legs! Can Kain finish him?
Uni pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Uni seems to have recovered his senses.
Uni jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

so Kain counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kain stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Uni lands a nice hook to Kain's body. Kain takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Uni takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uni is defended easily by Kain.

and Kain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

enabling Uni to counter with a crisp jab.
Kain uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Uni.
Uni looks to score with a jab to the body but Kain is just out of range.

Uni misses with the combination.

Kain is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uni's half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Uni takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kain feints and as Uni raises his hands in defense, Kain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Uni wants to stand and escape but Kain is having none of it.

Kain lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Uni misses with a straight right.
Uni tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kain was well out of range. Poor timing from Uni.

Kain shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uni manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Uni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kain stops Uni from standing up.
Uni wants to sweep but no luck.

Uni is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kain is controlling him.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Muhamad Uni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
