The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metal throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Metal wants to clinch.
jackson has managed to clinch.
jackson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Metal pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Metal has had enough of the clinch but jackson keeps him there for the moment.
jackson lands with a short shot to the head.
jackson keeps control of Metal as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Metal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
jackson wants a takedown but no success here.
jackson stalling in the clinch.
Metal throws an elbow but it misses.
Metal wants to break free but jackson has control.

Heavy Metal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of quinten jackson.

Metal connects with a nice cross there... jackson is looking wobbly and Metal recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send jackson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Metal jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
