The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreto shoots in looking for a takedown. Grant tries to sprawl out of it but Barreto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barreto walks into a stiff left hand from Grant.
Barreto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grant circles away.
Grant connects with a jab.
Barreto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grant as he avoids it easily.
Roman Grant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Barreto.
Grant lands a body shot.
Barreto takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grant drops Barreto with a beautiful combination! Barreto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Grant is looking for the KO!

It looks like Roberto Barreto has been cut.
Barreto looks gassed!
Grant lands with a nice body punch.
Barreto is still on wobbly legs! Can Grant finish him?
Grant dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barreto seems to have recovered his senses.
Grant cracks Barreto with a left hook right on the temple and Barreto goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Grant lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Barreto is OK!
