Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Vaughn Dez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Jameson!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jameson is trying to move to mount but Vaughn Dez reverses beautifully and ends up in Jameson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jameson working a defensive guard but Vaughn Dez manages to pass into side control anyway.

Vaughn Dez is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jameson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
You can see the frustration on Jameson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ground and pound from Vaughn Dez seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Jameson is not content to let Vaughn Dez control the position.
Jameson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jameson parries the strikes from Vaughn Dez easily there. Vaughn Dez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jameson to escape.
Vaughn Dez throws an elbow but Jameson slips to the side and avoids it well.
Vaughn Dez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jameson has escaped the position, nice work there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jameson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Vaughn Dez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jameson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vaughn Dez's guard! Nice work there by Jameson!
Jameson looking to sit in guard and control but Vaughn Dez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Vaughn Dez distracts Jameson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jameson can't keep his opponent in guard - Vaughn Dez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jameson is concentrating on defense, preventing Vaughn Dez from advancing position.
Jameson tries to roll over but Vaughn Dez keeps him under control.
Vaughn Dez tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Vaughn Dez content to control rather than advance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jameson wants to improve his position but Vaughn Dez is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jameson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Vaughn Dez shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jameson is backing up but Vaughn Dez catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jameson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Vaughn Dez Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Vaughn Dez!
