The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera throws a hook but Brumpfuls blocks it.
Brumpfuls takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brumpfuls moves away from the strike by Rivera.
Brumpfuls connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Rivera throws a nice looking combination but Brumpfuls bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Rivera counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brumpfuls's guard now.
Rivera stops Brumpfuls from standing up.
Rivera drops back looking for a leg! Brumpfuls is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brumpfuls manages to kick Rivera off! Rivera jumps back into Brumpfuls's guard.
Rivera stands and throws Brumpfuls's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brumpfuls wants to get back to his feet.

Brumpfuls gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Brumpfuls is looking to improve his position but Rivera isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rivera cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Brumpfuls is desperately trying to improve his position but Rivera has a good base and remains in mount.
Brumpfuls wants to hold on but Rivera pushes him away.
Rivera is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Rivera!
