Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Topo Gigio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Heat it up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Topo Gigio has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gigio leaves Franklin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

so Franklin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gigio is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Franklin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gigio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gigio drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gigio as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Franklin screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gigio! Nice submission victory there!
