Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanz Fritz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denzel Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juice has chosen Alfamega Feat. T.I. - Uh Huh as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fritz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Juice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fritz wants to get up but he can't break Juice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Fritz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fritz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Juice leaves Fritz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Fritz or perhaps it was just good defense by Juice which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hanz Fritz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Juice dodges the punch combination from Fritz.
Fritz fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Juice checks it well.

and Fritz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hanz Fritz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Juice wants to take a breather but Fritz manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Juice.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hanz Fritz.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fritz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
