Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smash Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Makalenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The Morning. Igor Makalenko acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Makalenko on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Makalenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Machine thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Makalenko to regain full guard.
Machine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Makalenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Machine has managed to get both his arms back between Makalenko's legs - danger averted.
Machine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Makalenko on the ground.

Makalenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Makalenko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Machine is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Makalenko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Machine's back instead.
Machine defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Makalenko has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Makalenko looks gassed!

Machine holding both Makalenko 's hands and preventing any damage.
Makalenko misses with a punch to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Machine defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Makalenko's arms.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Machine has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Machine is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Makalenko off. It looks like it's working - Makalenko slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Machine displaying calm under pressure there.
Machine tries to clinch but Makalenko moves out of range.
Makalenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Machine has time to react.
An inside leg kick from Makalenko misses.
Makalenko motions for Machine to come forward. Makalenko throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Makalenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Machine. Machine gets slowly back to his feet.
Makalenko fails with the takedown
and Machine counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Makalenko wants to get back to his feet but Machine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Machine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Makalenko has his feet on Machine's thighs here. He's pushed Machine off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Machine screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
