The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The fight stays on the outside here - Biggy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Biggy has Ruth up against the cage in a clinch.

Biggy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ruth uses from the top position.

Ruth got a little sloppy there for a moment and Biggy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ruth has managed to get both his arms back between Biggy's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Moe Biggy will probably get the nod.

Biggy closes the distance and pushes Ruth back into the cage.

Biggy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ruth escapes and throws Biggy's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Ruth is looking for a kimura but Biggy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ruth to get the leverage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Moe Biggy.
I think Biggy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
