PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Houdini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Crabtree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houdini kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Concrete Jungle by Black Label Society. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Houdini throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crabtree was covering up waiting for the punch and Houdini finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Crabtree is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Houdini is aware though and is defending well.

Houdini wanted to stand there but Crabtree had control of the position.
Crabtree bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Houdini's guard.

Crabtree drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crabtree jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Houdini wants to stand but Crabtree is controlling the position.

Crabtree drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Houdini dives on top into guard.
Houdini stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crabtree swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Houdini has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Crabtree to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Houdini is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Crabtree pulls down on the head and he's put Houdini to sleep! This one is all over!
