Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Hippa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gustaff bahula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gustaff bahula will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

bahula rushes Hippa and presses him up against the cage.

Hippa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
bahula misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hippa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hippa lands in his opponent's guard.

bahula is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hippa is aware though and is defending well.
Hippa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
bahula has momentary wrist control but Hippa slips an elbow through the middle.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hippa darts in and clinches bahula up against the cage.

and Hippa counters with a shoot takedown. bahula fights it but they end up in guard.

bahula has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hippa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hippa shoots in for a double leg but bahula sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hippa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but bahula circles away quickly and effectively.

bahula takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
bahula tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hippa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
