Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Ewert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wahoo McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel has chosen War Dance as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewert connects with a body shot.
Ewert looks to score with a jab to the body but McDaniel is just out of range.
Ewert scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ewert moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ewert circles away from the clinch attempt.
McDaniel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McDaniel tries a head kick but it misses.
Ewert jabs McDaniel right on the nose. McDaniel blinks but takes it well.
Ewert scores with a jab. McDaniel acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
McDaniel misses with the combination.
Ewert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDaniel.
Ewert misses the shot to the body.
Ewert fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDaniel manages to avoid it.
McDaniel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McDaniel avoids the body shot from Ewert.
Ewert throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ewert thuds a left hand into McDaniel's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McDaniel closes the distance and pushes Ewert back into the cage.
Ewert has had enough of the clinch but McDaniel keeps him there for the moment.

Ewert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ewert lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ewert.

McDaniel looks gassed!

McDaniel throws a solid leg kick but Ewert takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McDaniel.
McDaniel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ewert drops McDaniel with a huge uppercut! McDaniel drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ewert is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
