Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Knoxville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knoxville's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wicked Tinkers- The Bog. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Knoxville.
Knoxville moves into the clinch successfully.
Knoxville breaks the clinch.
Knoxville shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Knoxville stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Silva avoids the body shot from Knoxville.
Knoxville checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Knoxville misses with a series of wild punches.
Knoxville swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Knoxville connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Knoxville ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Knoxville closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Knoxville tries to stand but can't do so whilst Silva controls his leg.
Silva is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is trying to control but can't.
Knoxville knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Knoxville throws a strike but Silva avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A left and a right from Knoxville both land. Nice combination.

Knoxville misses the body punch
and Silva counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Knoxville clinches.
Silva stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Knoxville avoids the damage to the body.
Silva tries to work over Knoxville's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva tries a body shot but Knoxville blocks it.
Knoxville can't break the clinch.
Knoxville taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Knoxville pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Silva looks gassed!

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Knoxville wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johny Knoxville dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Knoxville fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silva on the side of the head.
Johny Knoxville seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a series of punches but Knoxville moves out of range.
Knoxville drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Silva has a closed guard, preventing Knoxville from standing up.
Silva is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Knoxville frees his head nicely. Oh but Silva has switched to an armbar! Knoxville is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
