The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That was a close round but I would say that Stanley Corncrab will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson.
Corncrab shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Corncrab's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Poor strikes thrown by Corncrab there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
