Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janu Haperenu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Yamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Janu Haperenu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Yamaki!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yamaki throws a leg kick which misses Haperenu's front leg but catches the back leg as Haperenu tries to avoid it.
Horrible takedown by Haperenu or perhaps it was just good defense by Yamaki which made him look bad.
Haperenu shoots in but Yamaki avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Haperenu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Janu Haperenu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haperenu shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamaki sprawls well. He's pushed Haperenu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yamaki thows a body kick. Haperenu tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Yamaki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Haperenu is breathing heavily.
Yamaki scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Janu Haperenu has been cut.
Yamaki connects with a solid leg kick.
Yamaki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Yamaki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yamaki stuns Haperenu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Yamaki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Janu Haperenu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haperenu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Yamaki throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Haperenu on the side of the head.
Yamaki throws a quick inside leg kick.
Yamaki connects with a high kick.
Yamaki throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Yamaki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Yamaki lands with a nice combination. Haperenu backs away looking to recover.
Yamaki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haperenu. That did some damage!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haperenu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Haperenu takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Yamaki lands a high kick!


Haperenu is rocked!
Yamaki connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Haperenu to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Yamaki!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenji Yamaki!
