And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown wants to clinch up but Vespa keeps it at a distance.
Vespa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Brown fails in his attempt to clinch.

Brown has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown displaying some good clinch control by pressing Vespa up against the cage.
Vespa takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Earl Vespa has been cut.
Brown comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Brown blocks the elbow strike.
Vespa stalling.
Brown blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Vespa fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brown connects with a nasty looking knee right to Vespa's face.
Vespa throws an elbow but it misses.
Brown gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Brown lands an elbow inside that Vespa shrugs off.

Vespa is rocked!

Earl Vespa's cut is getting worse.
Brown putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Vespa in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Brown unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Vespa takes a knee to the side of the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
clinched against the cage, Brown lands a big elbow that drops Vespa! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Vespa is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
