Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacare Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Siouxsie Banshees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Banshees finds it's way round the side to connect with Souza's head.
Souza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Banshees checks a leg kick.
Banshees will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Banshees is looking to slow Souza down with leg kicks.
Souza ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Banshees moves away.
Souza attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Banshees misses.
Souza turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Souza lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Souza throws a sloppy head kick and Banshees moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Souza tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Banshees is able to avoid easily.

Souza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Souza goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Banshees rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Souza's guard! Nice work there by Banshees!
Souza is breathing heavily.

Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Banshees doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Banshees manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Banshees gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Banshees seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Banshees's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Souza pushes a forearm under Banshees's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Banshees is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
