The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andreas tries to clinch there but Sumerweather circles away.
Andreas tries to close the distance and clinch but Sumerweather swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sumerweather misses with a low kick.
Andreas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sumerweather tries to avoid it but Andreas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sumerweather to the ground. Sumerweather escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andreas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sumerweather's waist but Sumerweather gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andreas off to one side.
Andreas shoots in but no luck this time.
Floyd Sumerweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Andreas.
Andreas tries for a takedown but Sumerweather sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Andreas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sumerweather manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Andreas has Sumerweather in his guard.
Andreas looks gassed!

Andreas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sumerweather decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Sumerweather misses the shot to the body.
Sumerweather just misses with a punch to the body.

Andreas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Andreas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Andreas swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sumerweather is now in Andreas's guard. A big mistake from Andreas there, giving up the dominant position!

Andreas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Andreas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sumerweather sprawls well. Sumerweather wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Andreas gets slowly back to his feet.

and Andreas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
