Balboa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is mama said knock you out. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa scores with a hook.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Balboa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mir.
Mir shoots in for a takedown but Balboa shows good takedown defense.
Darren Mir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balboa connects with a solid leg kick.
Mir looks gassed!
Balboa slips under a jab from Mir.
Mir loads up on a big right hand but Balboa slips the punch.
Balboa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
No luck for Mir with that takedown attempt.
Balboa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Balboa drops Mir with a beautiful combination! Mir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Balboa is looking for the KO!

Mir has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mir there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mir is still on wobbly legs! Can Balboa finish him?

Balboa feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Mir crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
