Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiro Hisao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akiro Hisao!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hisao tries to clinch there but Frost circles away.

Hisao gets a takedown into half guard.
Frost is looking for a sweep. Hisao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hisao wants to control but Frost is keeping him busy.
Hisao is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Frost looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hisao takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Frost pushes Hisao off looking to stand but Hisao dives back in and keeps control.
Hisao is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Frost regains full guard. Nicely done.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hisao wants to stand but Frost has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hisao is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Frost is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hisao pulls his head out easily.

Hisao stalling away here and it's allowed Frost to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Hisao lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hisao is landing with some decent strikes but Frost is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hisao has hold of Frost's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Frost manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Despite being in the dominant position, Akiro Hisao just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hisao postures up in Frost's guard and throws a big left but Frost blocks it.
Hisao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hisao wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.
Hisao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Akiro Hisao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Hisao shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Frost's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Frost tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Frost has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
What's Hisao going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee warns Frost that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hisao is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frost is surviving well by controlling Hisao's body position as best he can.
Hisao lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hisao lands a big elbow.
Frost wants to hold on but Hisao pushes him away.
Frost is squirming around, avoiding Hisao's attempts to control the action.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Frost.
Well Hisao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
