Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feder Emeleanenkis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Atom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emeleanenkis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Moskau - Rammstein. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atom lands a left and a right that send Emeleanenkis crashing to the mat, dazed. Atom thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Feder Emeleanenkis has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emeleanenkis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Atom.

Emeleanenkis takes the fight into the clinch.
Emeleanenkis fails to pull guard.

Emeleanenkis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Emeleanenkis lands in his opponent's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Atom is on top in guard.
Atom postures up in Emeleanenkis's guard and throws a big left but Emeleanenkis blocks it.
Atom wants to stand but Emeleanenkis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Atom is looking to work some ground and pound but Emeleanenkis has wrist control.

Emeleanenkis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Atom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Emeleanenkis is trying to control Atom's posture but Atom avoids it.

Atom is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Emeleanenkis has escaped the position, nice work there.

Atom is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Emeleanenkis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Atom throwing strikes but Emeleanenkis manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Emeleanenkis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Atom has escaped the position, nice work there.
Atom sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Atom moves into full guard.

Emeleanenkis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Atom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Emeleanenkis is aware though and is defending well.

Emeleanenkis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Atom has his foot on Emeleanenkis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Emeleanenkis works his way back into a safe position though.
Emeleanenkis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Atom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Atom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Emeleanenkis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Emeleanenkis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Emeleanenkis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Atom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Emeleanenkis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Atom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
