Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carson The Arson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Dean!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Arson tries to clinch there but Dean circles away.
Dean looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The Arson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dean napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The Arson happy to just control the position for now.
Dean tries to buck The Arson off but The Arson is having none of it.

The Arson decides to stand back up. The Arson steps back and let's Dean get back to his feet.

The Arson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Carson The Arson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Arson has taken the fight to the clinch.

The Arson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Arson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dean for as long as he can get away with.

Dean is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Arson defends well.

The Arson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dean. That did some damage!

The Arson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Dean takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Carson The Arson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
The Arson doesn't manage to clinch there - Dean circles away.
The Arson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The Arson tries to clinch up but Dean circles away and keeps his distance.

The Arson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dean looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dean tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The Arson advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Arson controlling from the full mount.
Dean is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dean is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The Arson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carson The Arson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The Arson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Daniel Dean has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well The Arson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
