Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Bong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, THE Jobber!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jobber wants it to stay on the feet.
Danga de danga de dang - Bong scores with a four punch combination!

Bong shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jobber is trying to defend but Bong finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jobber is trying to get back to full guard.

Bong is trying to work for a kimura but Jobber is defending well.
Bong working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jobber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jobber scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bong manages to mount him!
Bong controlling the position easily from mount.

Bong is breathing heavily.

Bong working for a submission but Jobber is keeping him at bay.
Jobber keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jobber is trying desperately to improve position.
Bong trying to control but Jobber is having none of it.
Jobber is looking to improve his position but Bong isn't that keen on the idea.

Jobber is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bong unloads with some shots from mount but Jobber bucks and avoids them well.
Bong tries to control but Jobber wriggling away.
Bong thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Bong manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jobber to take his back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Will Bong go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Jobber is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bong controlling the position well here. Jobber rolled but Bong kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Jobber swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Bong scores with a head kick.
Bong doesn't manage to clinch there - Jobber circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bong jumps guard.
Bong is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Bong has his feet on Jobber's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jobber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mike Bong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jobber leaves Bong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jobber looks to clinch

and Bong counters with a shoot takedown. Jobber fights it but they end up in guard.
Bong trying to control but Jobber is working from the bottom.
Jobber has a closed guard, preventing Bong from standing up.
Jobber wants to sweep here but Bong controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bong content to stall in guard here.

Jobber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bong is in close to Jobber's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A cross from Bong lands.

Bong rushes Jobber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Bong pulls Jobber into guard.
Bong trying to control the position here.
Jobber tries to stand but Bong is controlling from the bottom.
Bong manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jobber is looking to clinch but Bong is avoiding it.
Jobber misses with a leg kick.

Bong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jobber wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bong breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bong shoots for a takedown but Jobber saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bong throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Jobber looks to clinch
and Bong counters with a one-two to the body.
Jobber pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bong is out of range and Jobber settles back down.
Jobber closes the distance but Bong moves to the side
and Bong counters with a left and a right that stings Jobber.
Some bone on bone action there as Bong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jobber is looking to clinch.

Bong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bong works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jobber is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bong lands with some strikes.
Bong controlling the pace for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jobber for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bong cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bong sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bong prevents Jobber from getting the reversal.
Bong content just to control the position here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mike Bong showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bong has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
