The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hexagon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Godfrey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hexagon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Godfrey sprawls well. Godfrey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hexagon gets slowly back to his feet.

Godfrey moves into range and clinches up with Hexagon.

Godfrey lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Hexagon closes the distance and clinches up with Godfrey, looking for a takedown. Hexagon pushes Godfrey against the ropes but Godfrey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nathan Godfrey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hexa Hexagon.

Godfrey lands a big head kick that sends Hexagon tumbling to the mat! Godfrey takes a step backwards and waves Hexagon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A head kick by Godfrey - that's a beauty! Hexagon is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Godfrey can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
