PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Blind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by "Phenomenon" by Thousand Foot Krutch. Evans is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Blind!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Blind. Blind gets slowly back to his feet.
Blind looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blind is defended easily by Evans.
Evans throws a right hand that Blind ducks under and follows up with a left that Blind also avoids with ease.

Blind shoots for a takedown but Evans saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horrible takedown by Blind or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad.

Blind has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Blind misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Blind is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
