Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Winkleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky MirToH (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MirToH has chosen Hate me now as his entrance music. Franky MirToH will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Winkleman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming MirToH to the mat! MirToH manages to get full guard.

MirToH had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Winkleman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. MirToH Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Winkleman's back instead.

MirToH goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Winkleman escapes and is now in half guard on top.

MirToH isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Winkleman stacks MirToH on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Winkleman!
Winkleman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
MirToH manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Winkleman drops back looking for a leg! MirToH is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MirToH manages to kick Winkleman off! Winkleman jumps back into MirToH's guard.

MirToH working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winkleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winkleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Winkleman is sitting in close to MirToH's body. MirToH has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Winkleman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Winkleman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by MirToH.
