Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and pj lamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lamma will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
lamma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gracie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of pj lamma.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and lamma dives on top into guard.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. lamma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. lamma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. lamma is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take lamma's back instead.

Gracie has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, lamma has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Royce Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
pj lamma is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
