Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel slips a jab from Adams.
Martel throws a hook but Adams avoids it easily.
Martel lands a jab to the head.
Martel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Left hook, right uppercut from Martel.
Adams misses with a double jab
and Martel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Adams is rocked!
Adams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Adams jabs at Martel's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adams throws a right and a left that both miss.
Adams throws a series of punches but Martel moves out of range.
Adams misses with a body shot.
Adams gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Martel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A punch combination from Adams misses.
Adams throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Adams looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Martel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Adams misses with a combination
and Martel counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Adams has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Charles Martel!
