Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bones Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albano Taborda Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme back my bullets. Taborda Junior has chosen Ratos de Porao - Qual sera o proximo alvo da America as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bones Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Albano Taborda Junior!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a nice body kick.
Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Taborda Junior to the mat! Taborda Junior manages to get full guard.
Jones slips nicely into half guard.
Jones is taking a breather. Taborda Junior says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taborda Junior is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Taborda Junior avoid being mounted?
Jones wants to control but Taborda Junior is keeping him busy.

Jones is nestled in close to Taborda Junior, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is controlling the pace.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Taborda Junior shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Taborda Junior looks gassed!
Jones lands a high kick!
It looks like Albano Taborda Junior has been cut.

Taborda Junior shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Taborda Junior finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jones has one foot on Taborda Junior's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Jones has Taborda Junior up against the cage in a clinch.
Taborda Junior tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones closes the distance and clinches.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Taborda Junior takes one on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones digs a good hook to Taborda Junior's body.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones gets a clinch.
Taborda Junior has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bones Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albano Taborda Junior.
Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.

Jones lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Taborda Junior down.

Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Taborda Junior for as long as he can get away with.
Jones lands a decent elbow from side control.
Jones connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Taborda Junior some visible discomfort.
Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Taborda Junior!
Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Taborda Junior takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That has opened up Albano Taborda Junior's cut even more.
Taborda Junior defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones.
Taborda Junior is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Taborda Junior in real trouble here! The ref calls for Taborda Junior to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bones Jones!
