PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshmallow Bunny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daichi Killimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marshmallow Bunny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daichi Killimo!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killimo has a takedown stuffed.

Bunny scores with a takedown into Killimo's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Killimo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bunny is aware though and is defending well.
Bunny trying to control but Killimo is working from the bottom.
Bunny trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bunny might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Killimo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bunny wants to control from the top but Killimo keeps moving.
Killimo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bunny slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Killimo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Killimo wants to improve his position but Bunny is controlling well.
Bunny is pressing down on Killimo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Killimo is holding on for now.

Bunny content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bunny seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Killimo for as long as he can get away with.
Killimo moves into full guard.
Killimo tries to strike from the bottom.

Killimo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bunny gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Killimo looks gassed!
Killimo being controlled here, momentarily.
Bunny missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bunny drops back looking for a leg! Killimo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killimo manages to kick Bunny off! Bunny jumps back into Killimo's guard.
Killimo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bunny's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bunny keeping full guard, as Killimo tries to pass.
Bunny seems keen to control Killimo's posture.
Bunny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bunny not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bunny working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killimo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killimo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Killimo wants to pass the guard but Bunny is keeping the position.
Bunny is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Killimo wants to control from the top but Bunny keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bunny shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bunny was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Killimo is squirming around, avoiding Bunny's attempts to control the action.
Killimo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Bunny is keen to just control but Killimo is a slippery customer.
Bunny working over Killimo with some ground and pound. Killimo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bunny performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Bunny moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Killimo.
Killimo is not content to let Bunny control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bunny scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Killimo to see if he's OK.
Bunny works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bunny connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Killimo some visible discomfort.
Killimo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Killimo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Bunny wants to control but Killimo is keeping him busy.
Bunny prevents Killimo from improving his position.
Bunny missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Killimo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bunny's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bunny's back!
Well, with Killimo on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Bunny is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Killimo tightening his grip on Bunny, looking for the choke.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bunny tries to roll but Killimo sticks to his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marshmallow Bunny dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Bunny counters with a nice double leg into side control. Killimo won't be happy with that.
Bunny trying to control the action but Killimo is working from the bottom.

Bunny tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bunny cracks Killimo with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Killimo is trying to improve his position.
Killimo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Killimo is breathing heavily.
Killimo gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Bunny lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killimo can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Bunny.
Killimo is trying desperately to improve position.
Bunny is landing with some decent strikes but Killimo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.


Killimo is rocked!

Bunny looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Marshmallow Bunny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bunny wants to control the pace but Killimo is squirming around nicely.
Bunny postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Killimo bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bunny and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marshmallow Bunny!
