Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny B Goode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Conlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conlin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem The Way I Am. Johnny B Goode looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conlin shoots in for a double leg but B Goode sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
B Goode looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Conlin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Conlin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. B Goode did well to prevent Conlin getting side control.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Conlin has eaten all the pies!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Conlin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between B Goode's hands.

It looks like Johnny B Goode has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

B Goode looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Conlin passes into side control.

Conlin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Conlin is trying to get an arm triangle but B Goode is defending well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Conlin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. B Goode turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Conlin off and cradles B Goode's limp body as Conlin celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kevin Conlin!
