Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Mordant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hirota Masada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirota Masada will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masada misses with a low kick as Mordant jumps back.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Masada connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mordant feints and as Masada raises his hands in defense, Mordant changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Masada is looking for a triangle but Mordant pushes his legs off easily.
Mordant wants to pass the guard but Masada is keeping the position.

Mordant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Masada manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Mordant somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Mordant drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Masada is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mordant defends well.
Mordant drops back looking for a leg! Masada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Masada manages to kick Mordant off! Mordant jumps back into Masada's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masada tries to strike from the bottom.
Mordant drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mordant seems to have locked his on tight now - Masada screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mordant, as he picks up the win!
