Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Veijo Meri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tham Boon Yodsuwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meri's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meri shoots for a double leg takedown but Yodsuwan sprawls well. He's pushed Meri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yodsuwan's corner calls for a 1-2. Yodsuwan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Meri is looking to clinch but Yodsuwan is avoiding it.
Yodsuwan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Meri in his tracks.
Tham Boon Yodsuwan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yodsuwan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Meri closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yodsuwan circles away.
Meri tries to clinch up.
Yodsuwan lands a nice shot to the body.

It looks like Veijo Meri has been cut.
Yodsuwan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Meri is breathing heavily.

Meri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yodsuwan walks away with a smile on his face. Meri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Yodsuwan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Meri is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Yodsuwan uses the oldest trick in the book to send Meri tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Yodsuwan is absolutely delighted - when Meri wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
